Our client called to report that part of their warehouse roof looked like it was collapsing. We quickly arrived on site to investigate. After assessing the situation, we found a damaged structural purlin inside a clean room at their aerospace facility. The beam needed to be replaced right away.
Before starting repairs, our restoration division built a containment system. We used scaffolding wrapped in heavy mill plastic to keep dust and debris inside the work area. As a result, the other half of the clean room remained operational throughout construction.
Once the area was sealed off, we shored up the roof to keep it stable. Then, we removed the damaged purlin and installed a new wood beam. From start to finish, we focused on keeping the workspace clean and protecting our client’s operations.
