Our facilities team recently took on a small project to stencil parking labels in one of our customers parking lots. A quick little project that makes a big difference for the operations of their property.
Car Crash Planter Repair
One of our commercial customer’s had unfortunately had one of their planter’s demolished by a car accident in San Juan Capistrano. Our team removed the compromised sections, salvaged the intact walls, and rebuilt the structure using new bricks reinforced with rebar. The planter was then finished with a matching stucco coat to seamlessly blend with the existing design. We take pride in repairing accident-related damage and restoring properties to their original condition.

Repaired Unwanted ATM Drive-Thru
Recently, we repaired a stucco exterior ATM wall for U.S. Bank after it was damaged by an unexpected car accident. Our team replaced the damaged wood framing, installed new drywall, carefully matched and repainted the existing color, and re-lathed and applied new exterior stucco to blend seamlessly with the original finish.
The wall is now fully restored, structurally sound, and looking like nothing ever happened—except no longer accepts drive-through deposits.

Structural Purlin Replacement
Our client called to report that part of their warehouse roof looked like it was collapsing. We quickly arrived on site to investigate. After assessing the situation, we found a damaged structural purlin inside a clean room at their aerospace facility. The beam needed to be replaced right away.
Before starting repairs, our restoration division built a containment system. We used scaffolding wrapped in heavy mill plastic to keep dust and debris inside the work area. As a result, the other half of the clean room remained operational throughout construction.
Once the area was sealed off, we shored up the roof to keep it stable. Then, we removed the damaged purlin and installed a new wood beam. From start to finish, we focused on keeping the workspace clean and protecting our client’s operations.

STRAIGHTENING OUT A CAR WRECK!
SDFS received an emergency call that one of our clients needed our immediate help. A driver had lost control of their vehicle and crashed into the side of their building. Our office responded within minutes. We arrived on scene just as they were towing the car away from the building. We immediately began on working to asses all the damage and to begin the process of making it right.
We first repaired the back flow that had been lost, rendering the neighboring nursery with no means of watering all those pretty plants. Once we tackled that issue we focused on repairing the damaged building and the surrounding landscape. In just a few days we were able to repair the damaged wall and surrounding landscape.
Here at SDFS we straightened out a car wreck and put everything back to normal for one of our dear clients. We pride ourselves here at SDFS at always being available for our clients in their hour of need.
Straightening it out!
SDFS recently received a facility work order to repair a neglected dumpster enclosure that was in desperate need of repairs. Our facility maintenance technicians welded and reattached the metal dumpster door. They completed repairs to the wood trellis. To top it off we gave everything a good coat of paint. The dumpster enclosure is back in business! Our technicians have the skills to straighten out just about anything. Let us know what we can help straighten out or repair for you.

In poor shape.

A little straighter now.
PUTTING A ROOF ON IT!
SDFS received a request to install a new roof on an existing dumpster enclosure. We removed the old roof & disposed of it, replaced any rotten wood support beams and plywood sheeting and installed the new roof. Once the new roof was on the enclosure we couldn’t just stop there, we decided to add a fresh coat of paint to the wooden enclosure doors to help clean them up and protect them. Not bad for a dumpster enclosure! We seem to repair a lot of dumpster enclosures..LOL
